It turns out that the preorder situation (limited quantities) hinted at what we should've expected at launch: stock woes, to say the least. The Nintendo Switch OLED released in October, but you would've had to be extremely lucky to find one on store shelves. Switch OLED restocks were previously selling out as fast as PS5 and Series X restocks. It's been available for most of the day (December 9) at both retailers, so perhaps Switch OLED stock is stabilizing. Update: The Switch OLED is currently available at Walmart and Target.
